YOGA Classes in Gateshead

I offer friendly classes which encourage you to listen to and trust your body as you practice yoga. Known for my inclusive practice and ability to communicate I offer compassionate yoga that is for every body. 

Classes are suitable for anyone wanting to increase their flexibility and strength whilst maintaining a healthy range of movement .

Friday Morning Drop in classes - 9.00 a.m - 10.15 am

£8 per class or pay what you feel.

Yoga mats and equipment can be provided.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing.

Everyone welcome whatever your age and experience.

My approach

Classes are responsive and sensitively structured to help you help yourself from the inside out. 

I use a variety of somatic movement techniques to expand and support the yoga practice.

Somatics encourages a way of moving from the inside out and is typified by a sense of easeful exploration and expansion in the body and mind

Adaptations and alternatives are always given in my classes so that each person can negotiate their own level of challenge and comfort and so practice safely

I also teach yoga classes at Dry Water Arts Centre in Amble Northumberland .

Monthly Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) Practice

Not going out....going in. A once a month practice of Yoga Nidra, a deeply relaxing and restorative session. An alternative way to prepare for the weekend.

We will start with some restorative and grounding yoga postures before making our way toward a guided and supported relaxation of body and mind.

Nidra classes are held at the yoga studio Dry Water Arts Centre Amble
